We are taught every other emotion BUT anger and sometimes sadness is okay to have. Unexpressed or long term sadnes turns to anger. So, think of someone you know that is angry, says mean things or try's to control everything. They are truely full of sadness that did not get loved or heard and that got morphed into anger.
Now, turning this mirror to ourselves!
For everything is echoing our current state of mind and spirit. Trust me, those pockets of tension that just won't seem to let go with any yoga, massage or hot pack. Most likely, is the unexpressed anger we have tried to positive think it away.
That's okay, I am here to give you permission. Only if that is what you need to hear right now, to know anger is just another emotion like any other. This is about taking responsibility for everything about us including our angry. Explode internally before it either implodes you in the form of a heartache because anger creates an internal pressure. Or you turn it onto someone else.
Did you ever consider, you got to get out what was already there, before you can get to feel love for you or the romance that we all fantasize about!
I thought, I dealt with my past of negative influences in my life; especially the ones that came in step father packages. Or the past relationships that left you hanging or you running out the door. You say to yourself; I'm over that.
Really! Did you fully get it out! What if not expressing this anger to its fullest, is what is cheating you out of the most relief and freeing experience of your life!
I don't mean screaming at the top of your lungs and accusing others. It is a down and dirty fist fighting, annililating in the most gruesome way visualizing the depth of your anger!
Visualize! Key word!
We have to get real and honest with us, to tap into this unleashed angry and give it a way to express itself! Nothing truer than the phrase, 'what you resist persists!' This a way to unlocking you, so you can feel who you naturally are; is love, peace and kindness. Your natural state is bliss. The road to bliss is feeling the anger!
You are so powerful that by keeping this power in, is like that of an atomic bomb! What is that doing to you?
Trust, take a moment, get in touch with your anger and unleash it! You will be amazed at the verousity and viciousness! That is okay, excellent, better out than in my mom always says! Be creative and let your mind go! Exhaust the angry and then you will feel the tsunami of peace come over you! This could be your biggest block that is stopping you from loving and fully embracing YOU!
Only you can stop yourself!
Be bold, be brave and release the suppressed so you can thrive!

Love it! It is so needed to be understood that we have been brought up to see anger as a very bad thing and whilst it's a negative emotion it is so vital we honour that side of us and express it in health forms.

DeleteLove this! It was not okay to be angry when I was growing up so I bottled it up and it came out in passive aggression, control issues, and self-hate.

Becky I hear you. Angry is one of the most suppressed emotions that gets stuck metaphysically in our liver and gallbladder. Then it creates dysfunction here and overall throws off the function of your entire body. It can be released and replaced with self acceptance and love. Tank you for sharing!
